Catheter is percutaneous. For acute use only (up to 3 weeks).
BLADDER Delivery, Sample Collection, Infuse, Chronic/Acute Microport (S) SPECIAL 100 Port & catheter are placed subcutaneous. Beside injecting & collecting, system is also used for creating pressures. Catheter has multiple holes therefore less possibility of catheter blockage. Dead space of port and catheter is 0.009CC. See [*] below.

*DaVINCI's ports and catheter systems[1] implanted subcutaneously are ideal for chronic and acute use. Due to our unique designs our implanted systems reduce occlusion, infection, saroma & necrosis. Our port and catheter systems maintain internal pressures, which increase longevity and maintain patency (greatly reducing occlusion, and obstruction of catheter). When system is locked with heparin & saline solution internal pressures reduce the possibility of back flow into the tip of the catheter. Through extensive engineering our systems are designed for easy use, longevity and bio-compatibility. DaVINCI is continually researching new designs to improve systems for our clients' specifications and needs. We welcome all inquiries.

DaVINCI also provides "Dual Port Systems" (see Implantable Devices). Two or more systems, shown above, can be implanted simultaneously. All forms of Telemetry and many other systems also implanted.
